Ben Q is a famous brand with CDR disk drives and LCD computer monitor. Today with the launch of BenQ F5 and T3 they venture into the Android smart devices.Prior to this the BenQ have released mobile phones under brand BenQ Siemens .However, the company closed in 2007.
BenQ F5 is a device with a screen 5 "IPS LCD 720P resolution. It is powered by 1.2 GHz quad-core processor Snapdrgaon 400, 2 GB RAM and a 16 GB capacity with microSD card support up to 64GB. Optical capability is 13 Megapixel main camera with Sony sensor and front camera of 2 Megapixel. The batteries used are of 2520 mAh. Although the rear panel of this device can be opened F5 battery can not be opened.
In terms of the overall construction of this device is made of plastic with a smooth rear panel. The power button is located on the top along with a headphone jack.Sound button located on the right side of the slot MicroUSB located on the back.On the back panel there is a speaker. Both the power button and the sound is made of a plastic material but robust construction. It is not loose and comfortable to use. Quality of construction is simple without finishing metal or exotic materials. It is easy to use with one hand and comfortable grip as the edges are not sharp.
Although classified as a middle-class devices, BenQ F5 support network LTE. In addition, this device supports only one SIM-sized Micro .
Q Home UIThe operating system Android 4.4.2 is used in this device. A good effort by BenQ because we feel the use of Android Jelly Bean is no longer acceptable in the fourth quarter of 2014. Interface Q Home UI is the interface used by Ben Q of the device. Like the majority of the device interface of mainland China, Q Home UI is not equipped tray application. Tray notifications, mobile application interface and image gallery seems taken directly from the Android stock . So it can be said Q Home UI is Android Stock with small changes in the application tray icon and discarded. We noticed a sudden change occurred on the camera application. All additional functions and functions of the camera settings are placed on the left side of the screen. Video recording button and the camera shutter are located on the top right of the screen.
